Expressions of interest are now open for both the Teneriffe sqhub and the Bond University Creative Hub, with residencies starting 1 July 2020.
Screen Queensland are looking for early to mid-career individuals and companies who are looking to take the next step with their career or business.
Expressions of interest will be taken through this form for:
Co-working space is available at a subsidised cost of: $200.00 per desk per month for full-time residency and $100.00 per desk per month for part-time residency. Fees exclude GST.
Incubator only participation is offered at 50% subsidy, at a cost of $750.00 per team. The incubator fee will be waived for anyone wishing to participate in both the creative co-working space and the incubator. You must commit to taking up a desk in the co-working space to access the full subsidy.
The hubs provides a flexible workspace that opens doors to greater collaboration and innovation between its screen and game development members whilst easing the financial strains placed on many new and growing companies, and individual practitioners.
15 desks are available at each location, for Queensland-based production and game development companies and individual practitioners. As part of the sqhub residency, successful applicants will receive secure 24/7 access to the sqhub, use of its meeting rooms and kitchen facilities.
Hotdesks for casual use are also available on a pay-per-day basis and you do not have to submit an application to use a hotdesk. If you are interested in a hotdesk only, please contact the Community Manager.
Screen Queensland and Bond University are proud to deliver the Creative Hub in partnership, on the Bond campus within the Film and TV unit.
The sqhub initiative, funded by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland, helps connect Queensland screen creatives across all parts of the screen sector by providing facilities and a co-working space to help build networks for innovative creators to develop and grow.
Applicants should read the Program Guidelines and Terms of Trade prior to commencing an application.
